My field is Sustainable Development, which focuses on the role of natural and physical capital in promoting intergenerational equity. My research interests include energy valuation, natural resource management, sustainable investment and economic development in African countries. My current research focuses on the role of geography and institutions in determining valuation of energy, infrastructure and natural resources for sustainable development. I specifically examine the role of geography and institutions in determining access to and use of energy, infrastructure and natural resources for sustainable development.

I thought it was also very interesting to try out the two methods for the class, though it was a small class, students were engaged and willing to trying new methods which meant, though there were hiccups in the use of piazza, it turned out more or less okay, since students engaged with the platform as well. The format of the class itself was something I was unused to, so it was very cool to observe the ways in which my partner directed the conversations and engaged the class with the material as well.
